*      World Wide Web Surfing     When we move from one Website/ Web page to another on WWW, it is known as surfing. It is the process of searching for information on the WWW. Once we are connected to the Internet, we can surf the Internet by using software called Internet browser. Two commonly used Internet browsers are Internet Explorer and Netscape Navigator. *    Printing and Editing the Downloaded File     When you view pages on the Web, you often find information that you would like to save for future reference or share with others. The best way is to download it and take a printed-paper copy. To print the downloaded Web page, just open those file where it is saved and click the printer icon on the Tool Bar. *     Viewing the Downloaded File     When surfing the internet, local viewing tends to be much faster and visually clearer when using a slow connection. *     Downloading a File     Downloading is the process of copying a file (such as a game or a utility) from one computer to another across the Internet. *     Starting the Internet   The step to start Internet on your computer is very simple. If your computer is permanently connected to the Net, double click on internet explorer icon on the desktop. *         Introduction     This is the age of information and many of you would be familiar with the term Internet. With the Internet, one can send messages, find information on any subject, chat with friends and do many other things. The Internet or the Net or the World Wide Web is a network of computers spanning the globe. In a network, two or more computers are linked together with cables to share information. Thus, the Internet is the  largest network of computers in this world because it has millions of  computers  connected to each  other.
