Meaning and importance of self-help. Self-help means independent mi oneself or does all the work himself/herself without depending on anybody’s assistance. It also means that we should be very dutiful and cautious towards our undertakings. By self-help one gains confidence. He /She becomes self-sufficient. He/ She is free and independent. He/ She never looks to others for any sort of help. This independent nature takes him/ her to success after success. He/ She never fails in life. His/ Her every mission is full of accomplishment (success). His/ Her face shines in glory of a great satisfaction.
Self-help is the key to all success. The person who becomes habitual for some type of help or favour from others can never get confidence. He/ She is a handicap in the hands of others. He /She lacks conviction and determination. The wheel of life is always jammed. If anybody comes to Ins/her help, only then he/she is able to break the rod, otherwise his/her progress is stationary, never in the gear. To keep the wheel of life always moving and in time, it is essential to be self-supporting, standing on one's own feet. An independent person is always found to be regular, punctual and full of confidence. He /She has the knowledge and experiences of every sphere here of life. Such persons get all the success and comforts of life.
Students and self-help. Student-life is the initial stage of our career. We should make our base firm and strong. A student should be independent and do all his work himself/herself. He /She should provide help to his/her parents in household works also. He /She should learn to wash clothes and arrange his/her books and bags. Boy or girl, all should be careful about cleanliness and other day to day activities.
