Students' life is best part of one's life. This is the phase when you have no responsibilities. You just have to study and explore new things. Earlier there hardly used to be mischievous students but the present generation students are becoming more misbehaving and disobedient. They don't follow the rules and regulations of school. They perhaps believe that it is an achievement on their part if they break rules and make their own set of rules. Respect for teachers is not their cup of tea. Only thing now students are interested in is to catch up with latest fashion and styles.

Cinema, TV and media directly influence students' life. Whatever they see in movies in all they think is reality. But reality actually is different which they are unable to analyze. While watching television and cinema they get more

interested into stuff like smoking, crime, wrestling and fighting.

Their role models have changed. Now the heroes of the movies are their ideals and they try to follow them in each and everyway. Girls also are more interested in dressing up like heroines rather then follow rules of school.

With the impact of television and cinema they have started smoking and drinking at a very young age. They start spending more time in hanging out with friends rather then study. Students have started missing out their classes or school, to be with their friends and to follow latest trends. The main reason for such unexpected behaviour of students is that their parents are not giving proper time to their children. Most of the parents are working. They don't have much time to look after their children. After coming from school they are alone. Parents are not aware of what their children are doing. They feel that their only responsibility is to give them good education and provide them with every luxury of life. But it is not the end and all of their duty.

They are not concerned that what children are doing with the money. Children use that money in wrong way but parents are not concerned. To make children more disciplined, parents should start giving more time to their children. They should talk to them and make them understand what is bad and what is good for them. Parents should make children understand about the discipline in student life. They are required to be realized about the values and sanskaras of life. This would be the most precious gift of their life to them.

Other way to make them understand is by giving proper counselling in school. They should be given proper education about rules of school life. To make them clear about difference between cinema and reality is also important. Teachers should also come up in this cause to help them understand what is right and what is wrong for

them.

Nowadays, teachers are also not giving proper education. It is the role of a teacher to make students learn to behave in a disciplined manner. May be there is some lack in their education that students are not behaving properly. So, teachers should also understand their proper role and make students understand their role.

One more point to be taken into consideration is the generation gap. We should try and make them understand because the generation is changing. The children now are different from earlier generation. So, their feelings must be understood. Students should not be restricted to do things. They should be given freedom so that they can become more responsible after all future of our country is in their hands.
