The Spring Season

Category : Essays

Here in India we have all the seasons of the year. Summer is followed by autumn and winter. After the end of the chilly winter, the season changes.  Then comes in the spring season.

It is called the king of seasons. It ushers in cool breezes, flowers, roses and green leaves. The whole atmosphere is full of sweet smell and fragrance. One becomes young and buoyant (light-hearted). We can call it as the Season of flowers. The buds bloom into colourful blossoms. There is a riot of colours every where. The plants sprout into big

trees.

The seeds germinate into rich golden harvest. The birds sing and chirp day and night. New leaves come up. A cool breeze blows. The spring season is in full swing. Nature is at its best. In India we have all the six seasons. Their circle is incessant and endless. They come turn by turn. But the beauty and allurement of the spring season is immense.

It is matchless. The season begins round about 15th of March every year. Then the weather is very mild and moderate. All the trees and plants shed their old leaves and shoots.

They put on fresh leaves. They look as if singing and dancing. They welcome the advent of the Season of Flowers. All sorts of plants sprout. There is plenty and prosperity every where. Greenery meets the eyes. It looks very pleasant.

Parks and gardens are the most frequented places. Even the peocock dances with joy.

In the rural India, this season of flowers has a special significance. There countless fairs are held. Young girls swing (sway in rope-made swing) throughout the day in the nearest garden. They sing songs in honour of the' king of the seasons.

In our Literature, the description of the 'Spring Season' is very amazing. Many beautiful poems have been composed. The season is a symbol of youth and cheerfulness. It gives the message of undying love and merriment.
