Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru is my favourite leader. He has impressed me greatly. He was born on l4th November, 1889.

The was born at Allahabad- MotiLal Nehru was his father. Pandit Nehru loved children. And the children called him Chacha Nehru in love.

He was a great lawyer. He worked under the advice and guidance of Mahatma Gandhi, who was his mentor, guru, guide and philosopher. He suffered a lot for his country.

He went to jail many times. In 1947 when India becamefree, he was elected the first Prime Minister.
