The largest bone is the femur or thigh-bone and the longest muscle is the sartorius on the inside of the thigh. 

The lightest human adult ever was a Mexican girl, Lucia Xarate, who weighed just 2.13 kg when she was 17, in 1889.

Ligaments, the connective tissues made up of mainly a tough protein collagen, which can stretch very slightly, join the two bones at the joints such as knees, hips, elbows and spinal joints to restrict the amount of movement they can make.
