(b) Honey also has medicinal importance as it is used as laxative, antiseptic and sedative so is used against gastrointestinal / and liver disorders.
(c) Honey is used in the manufacturing of cakes.
(d) Bee wax has industrial importance and is used in cosmetics, paints and ointments, polishes, etc.
(e) Honey bees are chief pollinating agents so also help in improving the plant yield.
(f) It provides additional income generating activity to the farmers.
