Name the methods employed in animal breeding. According to you which one of the methods is the best? Why? 

Answer:

(i) Various methods of animal breeding are: Inbreeding, out-breeding, out-crossing, cross- breeding and interspecific hybridization. (ii) Out of various methods of animal breeding, best breeding method is of out-crossing because it not only increases the milk production and growth rate of beef cattle but also overcomes the problem of inbreeding depression noticed in the method of inbreeding.
