    Solution :

    Given, \[f(x)=2{{x}^{4}}-13{{x}^{2}}+ax+b\] is divisible by\[(x-2)\,(x-1).\] \[\therefore \] \[f(2)=2{{(2)}^{4}}-13{{(2)}^{2}}+a(2)+b=0\] \[\Rightarrow \] \[2a+b=20\] ?(i) and \[f(1)=2{{(1)}^{4}}-13{{(1)}^{2}}+a+b=0\] \[\Rightarrow \] \[a+b=11\] ?(ii) On solving Eqs. (i) and (ii), we get \[a=9,b=2\]
