    Exp. [d] Articles-52 to 78 in Part-V of the Constitution deal with the Union Executive, which consists of the President, the Vice President, the Prime Minister, the Council of Ministers and the Attorney General of India. As per Article-53 (1), the Executive Power of the Union shall be vested in the President and shall be exercised by him either directly or through officers subordinate to him in accordance with this Constitution. The Cabinet Secretary is the Ex-officio Chairman of the Civil Services Board.
