    B)  1 and 4

    C)  2, 3 and 4

    D)  3 and 4

    Correct Answer: B

    Solution :

[b] Khâdir and Bângar are terms used to differentiate between two types of river plains and alluvial soils. Khadir or Khadar plains are those that are low-lying next to a river. Bangar plains are more upland, and consist of older alluvial soil. Bangar areas are less prone to flooding but are usually sandier and less fertile as well. The highest point in the Satpura is Dhupgarh (1350m) high which is near Pachmarhi, while the Amarkantak peak is 1064. No other east-west tectonic mountain of peninsular India is as high as the Satpura.
