INTRODUCTION

A sequence is a set of related events, movements, or items that follow each::her in a particular order.

 

 

 

TYPES OF SEQUENCE

 

 

TYPE - I: SEQUENCE OF WORDS

 

 

In this particular type of problem, certain interrelated words are given and numbered, followed by various sequences of the numbers denoting them, as alternatives.

 

Students are required to arrange these words in a logical sequence based on a common property and then

TYPE - II: FORMATION OF WORDS

 

 

In these type of questions, certain words are given and students are required to observe them in order as they are asked to do.

 

Examples:

(a) 2, 3, 1, 6, 4, 5                       (b) 3, 2, 4, 5, 6, 1

(c) 4, 5, 2, 3, 1, 6                       (d) 6, 3, 4, 5, 2, 1

Explanation: Here, we've to create the correct word and 'V has been labelled as 1, 'A' as 2, 'R5 as 3, 'S' as 4, 'T' as 5 and 'E' as 6.

On observing, we can see the correct word is STARVE. So, option (c) is correct.
