Ans.1)  Jody found the fawn around the spot where the doe was killed. Jody stroked it lovingly and lifted in his arms. Then he brought it back home. Ans.2)  The words "startled, troubled backward and delirious" prove it.   Ans.3) Jody dipped his fingers below the level of milk and the fawn sucked his fingers. Thus, the fawn drank milk from the gourd.   Ans.4)  Fawn's legs were too weak to stand upon. So it did not follow Jody.
