Give evidence that [Co(NH3)5Cl] SO4 and [Co(NH3)5 SO4] Cl are ionisation isomers

    Answer:

When these compounds are dissolved in water, they will give different ions in the solution which can be tested by adding AgNO3 solution and BaCl2 solution. If  ions are the counter ions a white precipitate will be obtained with solution. whenCl?1 ionsare the counter ions, a white precipitate will be obtained with AgNO3 solution. [Co(NH3)5 SO4] CI (aq)  Thus, these are ionisation isomers.
