    Solution :

    The Wiens radiation law is given by \[{{\lambda }_{m}}T=b\] For the given problem, \[b=2.88\times {{10}^{-3}}\,mK\] Hence, \[{{\lambda }_{m}}T=2.88\times {{10}^{-3}}\] \[\Rightarrow \]               \[T=\frac{2.88\times {{10}^{-3}}}{{{\lambda }_{m}}}=\frac{2.88\times {{10}^{-3}}}{480\times {{10}^{-9}}}\] \[=6000\,K\]
