    Solution :

                            Power consumed \[P=Vi\] Substituting \[i=\frac{V}{r},\]we get \[P=\frac{{{V}^{2}}}{R}\] In parallel order, potential is same on both the resistance \[P\propto \frac{1}{R}\] \[\therefore \]                  \[\frac{{{P}_{1}}}{{{P}_{2}}}=\frac{{{R}_{2}}}{{{R}_{1}}}\]                                 \[=\frac{2}{1}\] or            \[{{P}_{1}}:{{P}_{2}}=2:1\]
