The mathematical equation for magnetic field lines of force is

    A)  \[\vec{\nabla }.\mathbf{\vec{B}}=0\]

    B)                                                        \[\vec{\nabla }.\mathbf{\vec{B}}\ne 0\]

    C)                        \[\vec{\nabla }.\mathbf{\vec{B}}>0\]

    D)                        \[\vec{\nabla }.\mathbf{\vec{B}}<0\]

    Correct Answer: A

    Solution :

In electromagnetism. Maxwells equation are a set of four partial differetial equations that describe the properties of the electric and magnetic fields and relate them to their sources, charge density and current density. These equations are used to show that light is an electromagnetic wave. Individualy, the equations are known as Gausss law. Gausss law of magnetism, Faradays law of induction and Amperes law with Maxwells correction. Gauss, law for magnetism is given as \[\vec{\Delta }.\vec{B}=0\]
