    Solution :

    Given: \[G=99\,ohm,\,{{I}_{g}}={{10}^{-4}}A,\,I=1A\] Therefore, shunt resistance required is, \[S=\frac{{{I}_{g}}G}{I-{{I}_{g}}}=\frac{{{10}^{-4}}\times 99}{1-{{10}^{-4}}}\] \[=\frac{{{10}^{-4}}\times 99}{0.9999}\] Hence,                  \[S=0.0099\,\Omega \]
