    Solution :

    Using the formula \[F=ma\] or \[a=\frac{F}{m}\] or            \[a=\frac{4}{4}=1\,\,m/{{s}^{2}}\] Again from the equation of motion \[s=ut+\frac{1}{2}a{{t}^{2}}\] (Here, \[u=0\]and\[t=4\,\sec \])                 or            \[s=0+\frac{1}{2}\times 1\times {{(4)}^{2}}\]                 So,          \[s=8\,m\]
