    Solution :

     Part of fence painted by painter in 1 hour \[=\frac{1}{24}\] \[\therefore \]Part of fence painted in 6 Hours \[=\frac{6}{24}=\frac{1}{4}\] \[\therefore \]Remaining part \[=1-\frac{1}{4}=\frac{3}{4}=0.75\]
