    A) 70 kg

    B) 30 kg

    C) 50 kg

    D) 10 kg

    Correct Answer: A

    Solution :

    Suppose x kg of sugar is sold at 7% profit. Then, \[\frac{x\times 107}{100}+\frac{(100-x)\times 117}{100}=\frac{100\times 110}{100}\] \[11700-10x=11000\] \[10x=700\] \[x=70\,\,kg\]
