  • question_answer
In a triode amplifier,\[\mu =25,\]\[{{r}_{p}}=40\text{ }k\Omega \] and load resistance\[{{R}_{L}}=10\text{ }k\Omega \]. If the input signal voltage is 0.5 V, then output signal voltage will be

    A)  1.25 V

    B)  2.5 V

    C)  5 V

    D)  10 V

    Correct Answer: B

    Solution :

     \[A=\frac{\mu {{R}_{L}}}{{{R}_{P}}+{{R}_{L}}}=\frac{25\times 10}{40+10}=5\] But     \[A=\frac{input\text{ }voltage}{output\text{ }voltage}\] The output voltage \[=5\times 0.5=2.5\text{ }V\]
