निर्देश: निम्नलिखित प्रश्नों में एक अनुच्छेद व कुछ निष्कर्ष दिए गए हैं। आपको प्रत्येक निष्कर्ष का अनुच्छेद के संदर्भ में परीक्षण करते हुए उसकी सत्यता या असत्यता की कोटि का निर्णय करना है।

PASSAGE

Many parents who were unsuccessful at Science and Maths themselves have the depressing experience when their children also showing poor performance in the Science and Maths. Being hopeless in these subjects seems to run in families; or docs it? While certainly it seems likely that 'confidence' in Science and Maths passes from parent to child, it is less certain that 'logical and mathematical' abilities are inherited in this way.

अनुच्छेद

बहुत से माता-पिता, जो विज्ञान और गणित में असफल हों, अपने बच्चों द्वारा भी विज्ञान और गणित में निम्न प्रदर्शन पर निराशाजनक अनुभव करते हैं। इन विषयों में निराशाजनक नजर आना पारिवारिक निरंतरता से चला आ रहा है या क्या ऐसा है? हालाँकि निश्चित रूप से ऐसा लगता है कि विज्ञान में और गणित में ‘आत्मविश्वास’ माता-पिता से ही बालक में जाता है। यह प्रायः कम होता है कि तार्किक व गणितीय योग्यताएँ इस प्रकार आनुवंशिक होती हैं।

Logical and Mathematical abilities are acquired.

तार्किक व गणितीय योग्यताएँ अर्जित होती हैं।

A) if you think the inference is 'definitely true', / अंकित कीजिए यदि आप सोचते हैं कि निष्कर्ष 'निश्चित रूप से सही’ है,

B) if inference is 'probably true' though not definitely true in the light of the facts given, / लिखें यदि निष्कर्ष 'संभावित रूप से सही’ है,

C) if "the data given is inadequate", i.e. from the facts given you cannot say whether the inference is likely to be true or false;/लिखें यदि निष्कर्ष के लिए दिए गए आँकड़ें अपर्याप्त हैं अर्थात दिए गए तथ्यों के आधार पर निष्कर्ष को सत्य या असत्य नहीं कह सकते,

D) 'if the inference is 'definitely false' i.e. it contradicts the given facts. / अंकित करें यदि निष्कर्ष ‘निश्चित रूप से असत्य’ अर्थात निष्कर्ष निष्कर्ष दिए गए तथ्यों के विपरीत है।
