                     In eutherian mammals microlecithal eggs (i.e. having small amount of yolk) are found. Mesolecithal egg (i.e. having moderate amount of yolk) is found in ambhibians like frog, peteromyzon etc. Telolecithal egg (i.e. yolk present at one pole ) is found in some amphibians and birds while megalecithal egg (large amount of yolk is present) is found in reptiles,   birds   and   prototherian mammals.
