    Solution :

                    Let the tubes A and B have equal length called as\[l\]. Since, tube A is opened at both the ends, therefore, its fundamental frequency \[{{n}_{A}}=\frac{v}{2l}\]                                           ...(1) Since, tube B is closed at one end, therefore, its fundamental frequency \[{{n}_{B}}=\frac{v}{4l}\]                                ...(2) From eqs. (1) and (2), we get                 \[\frac{{{n}_{A}}}{{{n}_{B}}}=\frac{\frac{v}{2l}}{\frac{v}{4l}}\]                 \[=\frac{4}{2}=2:1\]
