                    Frequency of stretched string is \[n=\frac{1}{\lambda }\sqrt{\frac{T}{\mu }}\]where\[\lambda \]is wavelength, T the tension and\[\mu \]the mass per unit length. For octave     \[n=2n\] \[\therefore \]  \[\frac{n}{n}=\sqrt{\frac{T}{T}}=2\] \[\Rightarrow \]               \[T=4T\] Given,        \[T=4\text{ }kg-wt\]      \[T=16kg-wt\]
