    Solution :

                    Work done by battery is given by \[W=qV=(CV)\,V=C{{V}^{2}}\,\,\,\,(\because \,\,q=CV)\]  ...(1) Now, energy stored by capacitor is given by \[U=\frac{1}{2}C{{V}^{2}}\]                  ?...(2) From equations (1) and (2), we obtained                 \[\frac{W}{U}=\frac{2}{1}=2:1\]
