                     Vitamin-B (niacin) is also known as antipellagro   factor.   It forms essential components of NAD and NADP. Vitamin-C (ascorbic acid) is necessary for healing of wound, formation of collagen fibres, cartilage, bone, teeth, connective tissue and RBC. Calciferol (vitamin-D) is synthesized in presence of UV rays of sunlight in the skin. Its deficiency causes rickets in children and ostiomalesia (softening of bone) in adults. Thiamine (vitamin-B1) cause loss of weight and reduction in movement. Nepthoquionone (vitamin-K) is necessary for blood clotting (coagulation).
