    Solution :

     Distance covered in 1 s \[h=ut-\frac{1}{2}g{{t}^{2}}\] \[=10\times 1-\frac{1}{2}\times 10\times {{1}^{2}}\] \[=10-5=5\,cm\] So, the position of 1st stone from the ground is 5m.
