    Correct Answer: A

    Solution :

Tidal Volume (TV) is volume of air inspired or expired in relaxed position (500 mL). I consists of 150 mL of dead space volume and 350 mL of alveolar volume. Reserve Volume is of two types: Inspiratory Reserve Volume (IRV) is additional inhaled air, which is about 3000 mL and Expiratory Reserve Volume (ERV) is forcefully expired air in addition to 500, it is about 1100 mL. Residual Volume (RV) is remaining air in the lungs ever after expiratory reserve volume is expelled, it is about 1200 mL.
