     The change in mechanical energy \[\Delta U=mg(h+x)+\frac{1}{2}m{{v}^{2}}\] Here, \[m=5g=0.005\,kg,\,h=19.5\,m\] , \[x=50\,cm=0.5\,m,v=10\,m/s\], \[g=10\,\,m/{{s}^{2}}\] \[\therefore \] \[\Delta U=0.005\times 10\times 20+\frac{1}{2}\times 0.005\times 100\] \[=1+0.25\] = 1.25J
