Two or more codons coding for one amino acid:

    A)  non-ambiguous

    B)  degeneracy of codon

    C)  non-overlapping of codon

    D) non sense codon

    Correct Answer: B

    Solution :

When more than one codon may specify the same amino-acid this is called degeneracy of codon. Except for trypt.ophan and methionene all other 18 amino acids have more than one ccdon. Non-ambiguous code means that a particular codon will always code for the some amino acid. A non-overlapping code means that a base in m-RNA is not used for different codon at a time. Non-sense codon means that the  codon do not code for any of the amino acids like stop or termination codon.
