    A)  symbiosis

    B)  parasitism

    C)  commensalism

    D)  predation

    Correct Answer: B

    Solution :

Viscun album is a partial stem parasite that grows on silverfish, poplar, apple, walnut, oak etc. The parasite sends primary haustorium  into the host for sucking food. Symbiosis is a relationship where two organisms of different species live together. e.g., Mycorrhiza, symbiotic N2-Hxation. Commensalism is an association between members of different species where only one is benefitted and neither is harmed, e.g., Linnas, epiphytes. The predator is free-living organism which catches and kills another species for food.
