Bones contain large amount of calcium  phosphate. \[C{{a}^{2+}}\] are needed for stability of cell membrane, as cofactor for some enzymes and are involved in muscle contraction and blood clotting. \[M{{g}^{2+}}\] acts as enzyme cofactor and involved in transmission of nerve impulses. \[N{{a}^{+}}\] is important in determining the balance of electrical charges in body fluids.
