Which of the following connects glycolysis to Krebs cycle?

    A)  Acetyl Co-A

    B)  Ribozyme

    C)  Cytochrome oxidase

    D)  N-acetyl glucosamine

    Correct Answer: A

    Solution :

Pyruvic acid is the end roduct of glycolysis. The pyruvic acid enters mitochondria and first converted to acetyl Co-A which passes through the steps of Krebs cycle. Acetyl Co-A is the connecting link of glycolysis and Krabs cycle. Ribozyme is the nonproteinaceous RNA digesting enzyme. N-acetyl glucosamine is found in cell wall of bacteria. Cytochrome oxidase is an enzyme found in inner membrane of mitochondria.
