    Plant like nutrition is found in Euglena. There are following three types of nutrition in Euglena. (i) Holophytic: In presence, of sunlight \[{{H}_{2}}O\], chlorophyll and\[C{{O}_{2}}\], Euglena forms paramylum starch like plants through photosynthesis. (ii) Saprophytic: In the absence of sunlight it feeds upon dead and decaying organic matter. (iii) Holozoic: Some Euglena sp. feed like animals by taking solid food. Amoeba is carnivorous and its mode of  nutrition is holozoic i.e., it feeds by phagocytosis. The food consists of flagellates ciliates and rotifers. Plasmodium is an endoparasitic protozoan. Paramedum is holozoic feeder and show cliliary mode of feeding. It feed on microorganisms like bacteria, algae and yeasts.
