    Solution :

     Number of beats/s (beat frequency) is equal to difference of the frequencies of sound sources. Since, each tuning fork gives 4 beats/s with its previous tuning fork, we have \[{{f}_{n}}={{f}_{1}}+(n-1)\,d\] \[\Rightarrow \] \[2\,f=f+(50-1)\times 4\] \[\Rightarrow \] \[f=49\times 4=196\,Hz\].
