    Primary blood cells are formed in bone marrow. The process of formation of blood cells is called haemopoiesis. Stem cells are responsible for blood cells formation which are also known as myeloblast cells or haemocytoblat. Liver produces red blood corpuscles in the embryo. Plasma constitute about 5% of body weight. It is slightly alkaline, transparent and forms 55 60% of blood by volume. Spleen acts as graveyard of RBC. It leads with filterarion of dead RBCs.
