    Correct Answer: A

    Solution :

Neuron is the structural and functional unit of nervous system. It is longest cell of the body. It is formed of cyton, dendrone and axon. Cyton (Perikaryon or cell body) as a large spherical nucleus, a number of Nissls granules formed of rough endoplasmic reticulum with riboso. ,es, large number of mitochondria and melanophores but lack centriole. Dendrone are several short, tapering much branched processes. These contain neurofibrils, Nissls granules and mitochondria. Axon is a single very long cylindrical process which contain neurofibrils and neurotubules but lacks Nissls granules. Axon is usually branched only terminally into slender branches called telodendria.
