    Sol. [d] The 42nd Constitution (Amendment) Act, 1976 of the Indian Constitution is most comprehensive amendment to the Constitution which carried out major changes. It is known as 'Mini Constitution'. By this amendment new part IV containing Article-51 was added to provide lists of Fundamental Duties of citizens. Along with a detailed list of Fundamental Duties, this article broadly says that it shall be the duty of every citizen of India to abide by the Constitution and respect its ideals and institutions, the National Flag and the National Anthem.
