    At constant pressure, change in internal energy for unit change in temperature \[{{U}_{1}}={{C}_{P}}\] At constant volume \[{{U}_{2}}={{C}_{V}}\] \[\therefore \]  \[\frac{{{U}_{1}}}{{{U}_{2}}}=\frac{{{C}_{P}}}{{{C}_{V}}}=\gamma \] For diatomic gas \[\gamma =1.4\]                                 \[\frac{{{U}_{1}}}{{{U}_{2}}}=1.4\] \[\Rightarrow \]                               \[\frac{{{U}_{1}}}{{{U}_{2}}}=\frac{7}{5}\]
