    Solution :

    Given, \[{{n}_{A}}=256Hz\] \[\therefore \] Possible   frequencies  of  tuning  fork                 \[B=256\pm 4\]                 \[=260\] or \[252Hz.\] On loading wax on tuning fork A, its frequency will decrease. Now, 2 beats/s are obtained. This is possible only when \[{{n}_{B}}=252Hz.\]
