Which one of the following is correct?

    A)  Introns are present in mRNA and exons are present in tRNA

    B)  Codons are present in mRNA and anticodons in t-RNA

    C)  Every intron is a set of three terminator codons

    D)  Exons are present in eukaryotes while introns are present in prokaryotes

    Correct Answer: B

    Solution :

It is normally seen that codon for one amino acid is immediately adjacent to the codon for next amino acid. The coding sequence are called exons while non-coding sequence are called introns. Codons are present in mRNA and anticodon on tRNA. The polypeptide chain is terminated at termination codon.
