                                                                      Magnetic field due to small magnet is \[{{B}_{axil}}=\frac{{{\mu }_{0}}}{4\pi }\frac{2M}{{{d}^{3}}}\] Also,     \[B=\frac{{{\mu }_{0}}M(3co{{s}^{2}}\theta +1)}{4\pi \times {{d}^{3}}}\] \[{{B}_{equator}}=\frac{{{\mu }_{0}}}{4\pi }\frac{M}{{{d}^{3}}}\] So,  \[B\propto \frac{1}{{{d}^{3}}}\] So, it is clear that \[B\propto \frac{1}{{{d}^{3}}}\]
