                     According to distribution of yolk in eggs, eggs are divided into : (i) Isolecithal/homolectthal    yolk    is uniformly     distributed in cytoplasm. e.g.. Eggs of    mammals- (ii) Centrolecithal yolk is present in centre e.g.. Eggs of insect like silk moth. (iii) Telolecithal yolk is present at one pole e.g.. Eggs of Amphibia like frog and birds. (iv) Mesolecithal eggs: These eggs have moderate amount of yolk. e.g.. Eggs of ambhibians.
