The best conductor of electricity is a 0.1 M solution of:

    A)  \[{{H}_{2}}S{{O}_{4}}\]

    B)  \[CH{{  }_{3}}COOH\]

    C)  \[CH{{  }_{3}}C{{H}_{2}}COOH\]

    D)  boric acid

    Correct Answer: A

    Solution :

Key Idea: The electrolytes carry electricity with the help of their ions \[\because \]\[C{{H}_{3}}COOH,C{{H}_{3}}C{{H}_{2}}COOH\]and boric acid are covalent compounds. \[\therefore \] They don't dissociate in\[{{H}_{2}}O\]and hence don't produce ion. They do not carry electricity. \[\because \]\[{{H}_{2}}S{{O}_{4}}\]is ionic compound. It completely ionised in aqueous solution. \[\therefore \] It is best conductor of electricity.
