    Correct Answer: C

    Solution :

Capsule is the terminal part        of the sporogonium (sporophytic stage of moss plant). The capsule is broadly divisible into three regions i.e., apophysis, theca and opercular region. Calyptra is a gametophytic structure derived from ventral wall of archegonium of moss, which forms protective cap like covering on developing capsule. Calyptrogen is a zone of meristemic cells at root apex which forms root cap. Spine is a protective structure as in Accacia.
