                     Hormones are chemical substances which regulates growth of animals and plants. Cytokinins are plant hormones, they causes cell division and promotes growth of lateral bud. Auxin shows apical dominance, i. e., it stimulates growth of apical buds and inhibits growth of lateral buds. Gibberellin produces bolting i.e., rhey elongates length of intemode of a plant. Abscisic acid is growth inhibitors. It causes abscission of leaves and flowers.
