Hormones are destroyed after use and these are protein (oxytocin), steroid (sex hormone)       and glycoprotein (FSH and LH) in chemical nature. Pheromones are known as ectohormones which secreted on skin surface and works as sex attractants. Enzymes are complex nitrogenous substances made up of protein and does not destroyed after use. They are secreted from glands with ducts. Mucus are carbohydrate secreted from mucus gland, which are present at stomach, intestine, buccal cavity etc.
