                     In an adiabatic process \[p{{V}^{\gamma }}=\]constant Using ideal gas equation, \[PV=RT\] \[\therefore \] \[\left( \frac{RT}{V} \right){{V}^{\gamma }}=\] constant or     \[T{{V}^{\gamma -1}}=\] constant (as R is a gas constant)
